Keeneland Closing Day 10/26

Late Pick 4 Selections

Race 7 | Turf | 8 Furlongs

Must Use: #4 Belle Of Rights
Consistent double-digit turf spreads indicate she’ll be making an honest run at them in stretch today while also enjoying a jockey upgrade. CNL has shipped a good handful of winners here in recent years with similar Pace Figures as this one.

Spread Use: #1 Beach Walkn, #2 Mrs. Astor, #10 Maxisuperfly, #12 Work Of Fiction

Race 8 | Dirt | 9 Furlongs

Must Use: #2 Tumbarumba
The bulk of today’s star power in this field values late speed dynamics which could translate to an easier early race flow than this one’s been seeing as of late that he could very much appreciate today.  Projected to sit in a good spot near the lead before possibly getting first jump at the stretch run, he possesses the tools to hold off the late charges assuming they don’t let one of these rivals walk up front.

Spread Use: #3 Uno Mas Bourbon, #4 War Campaign, #8 Hit Show, #9 Grand Aspen

Race 9 | Turf | 8 Furlongs

Must Use: #7 Lagynos
Lone runner of field that sports three consecutive double-digit turf spreads. He’s had a long and durable campaign through 2024 and while typically a notch below when facing several of today’s rivals, those losing margins aren’t insurmountable by any means. He’s a little fresher for today’s try than he’s used to so perhaps a breakout effort is in order while projected to offer great odds possibly flying under the radar in here.

Spread Use: #2 Depiction, #3 Herchee, #6 Brilliant Berti, #11 Trikari

Race 10 | Dirt | 6 Furlongs

Must Use: #10 Frack Baby
Rider struggling to find wins at this meet, but if there’s ever a good spot to break a slump, it would be getting a first timer and just letting him carry you. Lone half-sib possessed speed and ran 2nd on debut. Trainer/owner have 2 recent horses together including a 9/1 turf winner and a 25/1 show finisher here at Keeneland.

Spread Use: #5 Thunderhawk, #8 Free Country
